Question: Hi Dr. Shoaib XXXXXXX
continuation to this query
I went and had ultra sound on neck ,they say masses of nodules on thyroid, but said no concerns...now they want, to run a cat scan,,,but waiting now for 2 was for insurance to ok it. I have swelling now on left and right side of my neck around the collar bone. As well as the first swelling in the front of my neck. I'm getting a little bit tired of this. Sometimes I feel as if I'm joking.

Brief Answer:
Need those reports ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

Masses of nodules on the thyroid and nothing to worry about? I would like you to get more information on the exact detailed report of the ultrasound.

A CAT scan is a very detailed and specific investigation which can catch almost all abnormalities in the human body. This scan will provide an almost accurate diagnosis for the suspected swellings.

I am sorry to hear that you now have more than one swelling, this is indeed an indication for urgent medical attention. I hope your country's medical system does not delay diagnosis or treatment any further, as this would be considered gross negligence.

Please keep me updated, and try to get your hands on the printed report of either the ultrasound or PET scan (preferably the PET scan) and write to me immeidately. You know you can trust me and I shall be completely honest with you. For now, do not worry and try your level best to stay calm. I wish you loads of luck ma'am.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Waited 10 hours, still haven't received it ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

I am so sorry, but I saw your query come in the moment you sent it, but waited this long because the attachment you email had not been updated to the site, and it still has not.

This could be because they have not received it, because it is usually updated to our discussion within an hour (maximum) of sending it. I would thus recommend you to either try again to both of the following addresses, and I shall only reply once I receive them, and if at all I do not reply within 10 hours maximum, then just wait and write to me once you receive your CAT scan reports, because I do not want you to waste your reply if it is not going to benefit you.

The email addresses are as follows:

YYYY@YYYY

or

YYYY@YYYY

Please also see if you can find the option to attach the reports to this discussion, I am not sure where the option is as I cannot see the same page that you can. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience from our side.

Best wishes ma'am.
