What Do My CT Scan Test Results Indicate?
Question: Hi
I have had a CT scan which states severe disease in the ethmoid and frontal sinuses , severe thickening involving the maxillary sinuses bilaterally with opacification of the OMCS .Moderately severe mucoperiosteal reaction in the sphenoid sinus air cells .
I have had 2 rounds of oral steroids and antibiotics over the past 3 months with no improvement .
Is surgery indicated ? And does the surgeon do all sinuses or just 1 or 2 ?
