I am Dr.kakkar (Dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I understand your concern.
A negative Hiv Elisa at 12weeks onwards is conclusive and definitely rules out Hiv. Therefore your negative Elisa at 87 days and 180 days is doubly reassuring that you don't have Hiv. As far as other tests are concerned, syphilis also seems out of question as you have a negative vdrl at 87 days whereas an infected person would usually develop vdrl positivity in 3-4 weeks. Hep B and C is also ruled out. The only thing that i would like you to retest is for Hsv because Elisa for Hsv is conclusive at 12-16weeks.

Dear Doctor,
After my 180 days results atleast i am happy and able to completely absorb my status. But what is the medical fuss happening in my life from last 6 months.
Still my symptoms are not going ( after 6 month of full stress and anxiety)
- step throat / uneasy throat feeling/ pain in throat
- burning tongue and lips
- pain in nose bone or uneasyness
- mouth apathus unclers etc
- neck pain / stiff neck and neck veins
- tongue dryness.
I just had unprotected kissing ( french kissing )happened with my last episode with CSW . Till than and now still on and off problem in mouth and which are not subsiding at all.i have been examined by 7-8 doctors and they are not able to figure out anything. Previously i feel this discomfort is due to exteam anxiety but after 6 month of test i am not at all anxious and these problem are not going at all.
Now my wife is also started below problems, thought i dont have any unprotected encounter with her from last 6 months-
- headache from last 4 weeks
- ulcers inside tongue
- pain in hand and legs
I want to move peacefully in my life but these symptoms are driving me crazy.
Pls help and suggest.

Kissing would anyways not lead to Hiv. So you can just forget about Hiv.
Kissing can at the most lead to transmission of other common viruses implicated in the causation of sore throat and upper respiratory infection but these symptoms usually develop soon after infection and resolve in a few days time. Kissing can lead to transmission of Oro-Labial Herpes, therefore a repeat Elisa test at 12-16 weeks would be conclusive. Herpes Simplex commonly cause oral or labial sores which can be confused with aphthous ulcers but the distinction is usually easy.
Aphthous ulcers can be due to inadequate diet, vitamin deficiency and anxiety. Since both you and your wife have aphthous ulcers it is possible that the toothpaste that you are using at home, is a cause of aphthous ulcers. Sensodyne toothpaste commonly causes aphthous ulcers. So try to switch to a different one.
I would suggest you to take a B-complex Vitamin supplement e.g Becosule-Z capsule, once daily along with a multivitamin Capsule A- Z, once daily.

I had ulcers on my inner lips and she had on her inner tongue.
Anyways i am least bother of ulcers but what is bothering me much is

I am still so much scared of my hiv pcr rna test result at 87days.
Instead of result - not detected it was mentioned as numeric number <72.
In interpretation - its mentioned as hiv-1 rna detected <72 ul/ml.less than the range of assay limit.
Now help me to understand , is it safe representation of negative result in India?
Suppose any novice patient with no sex in life get the similar result in this fashion?
Even after this quantitative value in PCR i have another 6 month negative elisa test , so i can stamp myself hiv negative. Hence proved myself that hiv is not the reaseon of my problems .no way .no how. And all physical problems are something other.

The test a sensitivity limit of 50 Or 70 rna copies (i.e the test would detect hiv if rna copy number is more than this value) and therefore a value which is reported as, less than the lower limit of rna copies detectable by a particular, is taken as negative.
Moreover, pcr rna is not a routine or reliable screening test. It is more often used to monitor response to treatment (Antiretroviral therapy) in those who are Hiv +ve. Infact, pcr rna has a high rate of false positive of about 5% i.e it may false come positive in an Hiv negative individual !!
Elisa is more reliable screening test and a negative Elisa test at 6 months is conclusive. You are Hiv negative.

Ok doctor after lot of reassaurence from most of the doctors , i trust that i am hiv negative and also free from other STD's hepB and hepC sphyllis etc.
I have my visa renewal and they are checking only these two diseases along with TB.Hope all will
be fine in future based on my results.
But i dont know why i am feeling ill most of the times.Espl throat discomfort , nasal congestion , slight running nose and body pain.
I was tried to settle my anxiety of 6 month after my 6 month test results and somehow its very low now. But i donno why sometimes i am feeling scared.
Tell me doctor , should i forgot the nightmare of this past 6 months with 100% confidence and trust and move ahead in my life without any ambiguity in thoughts.
