What Do My TMT Test Results Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
As Mention Below
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for query
I Understand your concern
TMT test is positive for inducible ischemia and ST depression suggests:
Insufficient blood supply to heart due to increased work load on heart.
It is due to narrowing of blood vessels of heart (coronary artery disease).
If you have no symptoms it may be false positive. But that has to supported by additional tests.
I would suggest to undergo
1. TMT with thallium isotope: It is non invasive test to assess ischemia/ physiological function of the heart.
2. CT angiography: It is non invasive test and assess the anatomical structure of the heart.
3. Fating blood sugar and lipid profile
If above tests come as normal then there is no concern.
If it comes as abnormal then you might requires specific treatment.
Hope I have answered your query.
If you have further query then I will be happy to help you
Stay healthy
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
