What Do My Blood Pressure Reports Indicate?

Question: Hi doctor.
I check my blood pressure everyday.
Normally it is at 130/60, 135/60.
They are normal or the dyastolic is too low and I should go to my doctor?
Thanks a lot for your time.
Best Regards.
Nuno

Brief Answer:
Yes you should visit and get once examined
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It's not too low, but on lower side, although it's not life threatening and problematic, but it's better to get examined and auscultated once to rule out valvular problem. This can be a normal variant also.

Sorry to disturb you.
Just one more question if you allow me.
I saw in a medical study we can measure in the forearm in case the bicep reaches 40cm or more that is my case because I go to the gym everyday. In my forearm the Dyastolic is 68, 70, goes a little bit up.
Thanks a lot once again

Brief Answer:
Yes we can measure in forearm also
Detailed Answer:
Yes certainly we can take in forearm as well. Actually, we take pulse pressure more than 60 as significant. Pulse pressure is difference between systolic and diastolic bp. So in both cases it's slightly above 60, so becomes significant. No emergency, just get once auscultated on routine basis to be more assured.
