Question: good morning doctor , just i went for blood test , report like this S Typhi o positive 1:40 dilutions.

S.Typhi"H" Titer Lessthan1:20 Dilutions, S.Para Typhi A(H) Titer Lessthan 1:20 Dilutions, S Para TyphiB(H) Titer Lessthan 1:20 dilutions. so is it Typhoid sim toms so if what treetment ihaveto go

Hello Sir,

You had taken the Widal blood test for Typhoid fever. I would like to know why did you take this? Did you have fever, abdominal pain, loose motion, body pains? If so can you describe how long do you have each of them?

While the above tests do not say about Typhoid fever and it is important to take the serial blood tests in such a case than single test. Generally Widal is positivee only in the second week of the fever. Please explain all your symptoms and their duration.

You are not positive for Widal so there is no point in treating for Typhoid.
