Thanks for contacting with your health concerns and before following any line of treatment in any -pathy do consider following:
1. Recent study has suggested that people with AD (Atopic Dermatitis) with high ESR and C- reactive protein are more susceptible for AI (Autoimmune) disease and thus should be evaluated by a Rheumatologist for SLE ( systemic lupus erythematous) and/or MCTD ( mixed connective tissue disease)
2. People with AD are more prone to develop bacteraemia and infection with chances of infective endocarditis thus evaluation with Paediatrician/Cardiologist is essential.
PS. Since her age (11years) is risk factor for both thus prior to start any alternative system of medicine do let ne know whether the two possibility are excluded or not.

A. Since ESR reflects ongoing inflammatory activity inside the body thus one should find the root cause of the same, since raised ESR is not diagnostic but is a non-specific measure of inflammation.
B. Avoid: saturated fats,refined sugar,salt, pickles,soap,wool(blankets/sweater),hot water bath.
C. Take: diet rich in antioxidants (citrus fruits), grapes,tomatoes,nuts,garlic,turmeric, mushrooms, omega 3 fatty acids, add some olive oil to water for bath.
D. Steroids provide temporary solution with undue side effects thus in long term you may prefer your branch of altrnative medicine after consulting with physician at your place of residence.
PS. going by the age prefer ointment to be applied externally:
1 part sesame oil
1 part turmeric
16 parts calatropis (arka)
