What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?
2. C3-C4 prominent posterior broad-based spondylitic protrusion slightly asymmetric to the left with moderate central canal stenosis. More prominent bilateral uncovertebral joint hypertrophic degenerative changes noted with moderate bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
3. C4-C5 mild posterior broad based spondylitic bulge, congenital pedicles noted with mild to moderate central canal stenosis. Some mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing, secondaryh to uncovertebral joint hypertrophic degenerative changes.
C5-C6 mild posterior broad-based spondylitic bulge and small posterocentral disc protrusion. Congenital short pedicles identified with mild to moderate central canal stenosis. There is some mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing, left greater than right, secondary to uncovertebral joint hypertrophic degenerative changes.
L1-L2/L2-L3/L3-L4 mild disc desiccation without disc protrusion, central canal stenosis or neural foraminal narrowing
L4-L5 disc desiccation noted with mild anterior hypertrophic spurring. Mild circumferential disc bulge is noted. No disc protrusion or central canal stenosis noted. Some mild left-sided inferior neural foraminal encroachment.
L5-S1 mild disc desiccation noted with mild posterior facet osteoarthropathy. No disc protrusions, central canal stenosis or neural foraminal narrowing noted.
Have facial/cranial pain, sciatica, painful tingling in hands, tingling sensations in legs, electrical sensations radiating down from neck. Unable to walk, sit, stand for extended period.
Thanks for the help
Nerve compression related pains likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain and tingling that you have is related to the degenerative changes at multiple levels in the cervical spine and nerve related changes due to fibromyalgia.
In addition to the medicines that you are already taking you can add methylcobalamin supplements after consulting your neurologist.
The nerve related pains and symptoms are a difficult thing to treat. Since the degenerative changes in the spine are progressive, isometric neck exercises can help in retarding the disease progression.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Spinal cord extends from neck to lower back through spinal canal. Spinal canal is formed by vertebral body in-front and spinous process of vertebrae at the back. At each vertebral level nerves come out through neural foramen.
Between each vertebra there are intervertebral discs confined within margins of vertebrae. When these discs come out of these margins, it is termed as disc bulge or herniation.
Such herniated discs can compresses spinal nerves or spinal cord. Symptoms are experienced along the area of distribution/path of that particular nerve. This has happened at C3-C6 level in your case.
Since the disc degeneration in your case is a multiple levels you are having more of the symptoms. It is difficult to understand each and every terminology mentioned in the report word by word.
Hope my answer is helpful.
