What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

Question: hi
had chest pressure and gradual trouble breathing with exercise
CAT scan and XRay showed elevated hemidiaphragm and right lower lobe atelectasis
blood work was normal
no mention of tumors
can this be lung cancer? or another cancer?

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. There is collapse of small airways in the right lung lower lobe. This prevents the lung from inflating normallly. There can be many conditions which can cause collapse of small airways.

2. If there is no mass lesion in the report then a tumor or cancer is unlikely.

3. Elevated hemidiaphragm is when the diaphragm is higher than usual and can happen in conditions where nerve to diaphragm is affected.

In conclusion, the breathing problem can be from the right lung lower lobe collapse. No indication of cancer or tumor is there in the report.
