What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?
Ankylosing spondylitis. Needs DMARD medication, swimming.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there, Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and reviewed your reports
According to the other reports, you seem to be having Inflammatory arthritis of the joints in the lower back called Sacroilitis. This connects your hip bone to your lower spine.
This arthritis will cause pain on sitting on floor, sitting long hours, lifting weights.
You're also having a slip disc but it is not pressing on the nerves yet. So the cause of pain wouldn't be related to the slip disc.
So please avoid forward bending, weight lifting, prolonged sitting, sitting on floor, squatting, cross leg sitting. Apply hot packs to the painful regions.
Since you have HLA-B 27 positive, if means you have high chance of the disease Ankylosing spondylitis. Here the problem starts in the Sacroiliac joints and also causes stiff spine in the back and later to involve the spine in the neck as well.
The best treatment is swimming . It will give adequate relief . You can also take DMARD medication like Tablet Sulfasalazine 500mg twice a day for a month.
This will reduce the progression of the disease which has no cure. Only you can halt the disease progress to some extent by exercise like swimming, aerobics and medication. Since the spine gets stiff you should avoid heavy work.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
