What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

default
Posted on Wed, 29 Jun 2016
Question: Hi, I have had the following symptoms for about 2 years now and they are getting worse slowly

Persistent, mostly dry cough for 2+ years everyday
When I cough it sometimes (but not all the times) feels like there is something biting me inside my throat

Lump in neck (CT and MRI attached)
Possible acoustic neuroma
High WBC in semen and low motility, burning when peeing
Hair loss
Weight gain
Water blisters on body
Itching on body and head
Swelling in front of and behind ears
Swelling on top of spine
Tiredness
Enlarged lymph nodes in armits, neck, groin

Please read all the reports FULLY (ENT, Head surgeon, whomever else)...and let me know what you think, a lot of doctors don't think it is anything but I feel something might be wrong, so I would appreciate reading all the attachments and my symptoms I listed and let me know.

The reports include a full ENT report, some CT/MRIs, and some blood works

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Need multispeciality interventions.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Answers and solutions

1. Your throat discomfort is due to chronic cough secondary to solid lung nodule ( till you get permanent solution for nodule, your cough will remain).

You need bronchoscopy with lung biopsy to see the nature of the nodule, your pulomnilogist and Cardiothorasic surgeon will take a call related to this.

In the mean time, you can try anti allergics like citrizine or lekotriene inhibitors (montelukast) for a certain period.

2. Acostic neuroma in young patients with positive symptoms with small to medium size can be treated by surgery.

Get a opinion from head and neck surgeon + Onco surgeon for exact staging and treatment. There are different modalities (conservative- radiotherapy) or surgical removal, depends totally on age and size of the lesion.

3. Other symptoms are due to your lower immunity. possible, secondary to chest lesions. you need to take proper diet and correct nutritional deficiencies.

Kindly discuss with your treating physician, before taking a decision of treatment.

Hope, I have answered your query.

All the best. Take care.
