Brief Answer:
follow the advises.. maintain a healthy lifestyle..

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Welcome to HCM..

I've gone through your query , reviewed the reports of both you and your wife and understand your concern..

The reason for both of yours tiredness is Vitamin D Insuffieciency which is quite apparent from the reports..the main culprit for this is urban sedentary life style and less to nil sunlight exposure..

Let me get to the point step by step,
XXXXXXX : you're having Vitamin D insufficiency along with hypercholesterolemia (elevated cholesterol both LDL as well as non-HDL) and Iron and nutritional deficiency ..

Are both of you Vegetarian ? You need to start eating some non-veg products like Egg and fish if vegetarian..

While XXXXXXX : Common problem is the Vitamin D insufficiency in her too..along with there's also elevated triglyceride and VLDL(bad cholesterol) and borderline low HDL(good cholesterol) and some nutritional deficiency too..

For Vitamin D insufficiency (this is for both of you) -

start taking Cap VITAMIN-D3 800 IU Once daily for 3 months(you need a proper prescription by your local physician for this).. the levels need to be rechecked after 3 months..

For hypercholesterolemia , complete physical examination is required followed by diet and lifestyle modification..(both of you need to schedule an appointment with an Internal medicine specialist who'll prescribe all those medications and run clinical evaluation also).. He/She'll also decide after the examination if you're in need for any lipid lowering medications (Statin group of drugs)..

Secondly, both of you need to contact a Dietitian to get a comprehensive diet chart right from change of cooking oil to all those supplemental (Vitamin D , Folate, Iron rich and low cholesterol)diet plan which you can follow on a day to day basis..

Start getting full body Sunlight exposure in the early morning (between 8-10 am ) , both of you , for around 15 min per day..

Include Vitamin D rich foods(you can google for the complete food list), along with lot of fresh green vegetables, fresh fruit/ juice(not canned/packaged juice)..avoid eating processed foods, junk foods as much as possible..

Stop any alcohol intake (if you do), start at least 30 min of daily physical activities(a jogging in the park during the evening will do), drink plenty of water(3-3.5 ltr per day) , ensure a healthy 8 hr sleep duration per day..try to avoid any kind of stress..

I've tried to make it as simple as possible for both of you to understand and follow them.. let me know if anything's not clear..

Start following all these along with the physical check-up and dietary and nutritional supplementation, you'll start feeling better within a matter of time..

Take Care
Kind Regards

Brief Answer:
follow as already advised along with the following advises..

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX welcome back and thanks for following up..

If you go back to my previous reply, you'll find that I've already advised to start taking iron rich diet along with other diet plans for you as it's more of nutritional deficiency in your case. However when the internal medicine specialist will examine you, if there's any additional clinical findings then he/she may prescribe you iron supplementation also (right now, without clinical examination it's not advisable to take any iron supplementation )..

Take Care
Kind Regards
