Question: Hi Doctor.
I have observed something on sensitive area, after I use public washroom. Contacted the Homepathic consultant and using the medicine since a year, but not observed much results. So I would request you to provide me the medication to sort out my issue. FYI I am attaching the reports and images.

Brief Answer:
Possible bacterial infection of glans

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir

I can certainly understand your concern.

I have worked through your attached images.

You possibly seem to have acquired infection of glans penis - balanitis.

Homeopathic treatment will not offer curative potential.

This requires treatment with a short course of antibacterial drugs like Doxycycline.

I generally prescribe oral pills of Doxycycline 100 mg once a day for 14 days .

Based on the response further management can be planned.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Antivirals are not required at the moment

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir

Doxycycline is affective against bacterial association but not viruses.

Antivirals can be instituted only if there is no response to Doxycycline after 2 weeks.

As of now antiviral medications are not required.

Thank you.
