Brief Answer:
Most likely its anxiety.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for asking from HCM

I can understand your concern. Your EKG, BP and blood tests are fine and this rules out any serious cardiac condition. Your main symptoms are feelings as if breath is taken away and fear. Due to this you have some anxiety.

The chances that this is spasm are also very less likely because spasm last for few days and it causes intense pain at the site of muscle involved. Pain usually seen in inspiration.

Your main symptoms are uncomfortable feelings and in my opinion these are occurring due to anxiety. Anxiety cause uncomfortable feelings and rapid breathing which results in feeling as if respiration is difficult. This further worsens anxiety and a vicious cycle is formed. Treatment of anxiety should relax you. If this episode occurred once only then only symptomatic treatment will be needed. Low dose benzodiazepines like Lorazepam or Clonazepam will help to relax you and you will feel better. If symptoms persist then regular medicines will be needed. SSRIs can help to treat anxiety completely.

Just remain relaxed that this is anxiety and nothing else. Your heart tests are normal so we can easily rule out heart condition.

THANKS, hope this helps you, please don't hesitate to ask again for more details.

Take care
