What kind of infection?I got tested for chlamydia and gonnorhea. Both were negative. Could it just be from imflammation? Or maybe bacterial vaginosis?
Brief Answer:
Repeated vaginal infections
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
ASCUS can result from repeated vaginal infection which leads to inflammatory reaction in the cervix leading to the formation of such lesions.
Bacterial vaginosis, HPV, or mixed infections by bacteria can lead to such changes.

Ok thank you, but i shouldnt be worried about any diseases such as herpes or hiv causing this?
Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be HIV or Herpes
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
HIV is unlikely to cause this condition.
Herpes infection is presented by vesicular lesions in the genital area, severe pain and fever.
So, these 2 infections are unlikely.
I suggest you not to worry and get follow up pap smears as advised.
