Brief Answer:
Get CT Chest

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend,
Your persisting fever requires evaluation for persisting bacterial pneumonia, fungal pneumonia or even tuberculosis despite of sputum test negative.
Since you have got your sputum test done after antibiotics, then you would need to get a CT scan for the purpose, as after antibiotic intake, sputum culture can come negative despite of presence of infection.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Last date of taking antibiotic was on 09-02-2016 and blood and urine culture and sensitivity test was done on 17-02-2016. Sputum AFB, sputum gram stain, culture and sensitivity were done on 20-02-2016. After how many days will it be safe for test to be done. I don't want to go for CT Scan because of radiation for I had done thrice in the past on my neck. Doctor please advise me once more. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Not required to repeat.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, If you don't want to go for CT due to radiation , then you may go for MRI chest that would clear the picture of what the lung consolidation in chest X-ray is.
There is no need of getting a repeat Sputum culture as it may come back negative again.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
