Brief Answer:
no reason to be tired in the tests...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

some comments about your tests first...

Your gamma-GT is elevated. This is common in patients who use certain drugs with liver toxicity. For example carbamazepine may cause gamma-GT elevation. Other liver enzymes may rise to higher levels too. Alcohol consumption is another common cause of gamma-GT elevation.

Your cholesterol levels are high. Your LDL is about 180mg/dL, which may predispose to atherosclerosis. If you're a smoker or have hypertension then treatment for high cholesterol might be considered.

Your eosinophils are a little higher than normal. Allergic disorders and parasitic infection may cause it. Other less common causes include hematologic disorders.

Your fatigue and the rest of your symptoms cannot be explained by your test results. A careful medical history will be more helpful. Another helpful index would be your thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). Thyroid disorders are very common in patients with fatigue.

Kind Regards!

I updated my Patient Profile, Medical History, etc.

You replied:

I do not use prescription or OTC drugs. I do not consume alcohol or use tobacco.

You replied:

My LDL is 155 mg/dL

On my Lab Results, I had a basic thyroid panel, everything in panel within range including TSH 2.480 uIU/mL

I do not have any allergies that I know of.

Should I be concerned about GGT level and need to take any action?

Since my eosinophils is a little higher than normal and I do not have any known allergies or infections that I am currently fighting may suggest that a parasitic infection may be the cause. Do my other symptoms, fatigue, tired all the time, sleepy and Lab Results elevated GGT also suggest that a parasitic infection may be the cause?

Brief Answer:
can't tell for sure...

Detailed Answer:
Regarding your gamma-GT: a liver ultrasound scan may help to identify potential causes (fatty liver, any kind of cholestasis=bile duct obstruction). If it's negative then antibody testing might be required. Anti-mitochondrial and anti-smooth muscle cell antibodies would help to exclude some autoimmune disorders associated with cholestasis.

You're right about your cholesterol. My typo! It's high anyway. The rest of my comments about it still apply.

A normal TSH excludes hypothyroidism as the cause of your symptoms.

Your eosinophils are slightly elevated and such elevations can be attributed to very many disorders. The most serious disorders usually cause much higher values (more than 1500/microliter) but they may present with lower values at first. For a mild elevation like yours the most common causes include various kinds of allergies (food allergy, allergic rhinitis, asthma, dermatitis), parasites (most of them cause more symptoms), autoimmune disorders, malignancies...

Your medical history is important to form a proper differential diagnosis. For example if you do have asthma, there is no reason to look further for the eosinophils. Besides the clinical examination which is essential for the diagnostic procedure, I would suggest a liver ultrasound scan to gather more information about gamma-GT and stool test for ova and parasites.

Your fatigue and most of the other symptoms can be caused by various disorders. Depression is one of them and is also a very common one. Some symptoms associated with depression are:
- sleep disorders (sleeping at daytime and staying up at night
- crying too easy and without a real reason
- feeling down all the time (never feel happy)
- thoughts about suicide

I'll be glad to comment more on your case, if you have more data to present.

Kind Regards!
