I prefer medical management initially.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
In cases of Acute on chronic cholecystitis , I prefer medical management initially. I Start with Antibiotics like Cefuroxime 500mg twice daily, Anti inflammatory tablet twice daily for 7 to 10 days.If there is severe pain, I give Intravenous Antibiotic and pain killer injections.
Once the Acute attack subsides,I will do Surgery and remove Gallbladder (Cholecystectomy). It can be Laparoscopically.
Regarding fatty liver, you should avoid oily food.Liv52 tablet twice daily or Liv52 syrup will be helpful.
Please let me know the values of Liver function tests.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
