Brief Answer:
Regular medication needed. Regular exercise also essential.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.
* You need to take thyroxin supplement (available in brands like Thyronorm). It can be started at 100mcg per day and the TSH levels need to be rechecked after 6 weeks in order to determine the subsequent dose. I would insist you not to self medicate and to follow the advice of your doctor for the same.
* You need Vitamin D supplementation. Inj. Arachitol 3 lakh units should be given intramuscular once each month for three consecutive months. Calcium with Vitamin D also needs to be taken along. Follow the advice of your doctor.

Let me know if I could help further.

Brief Answer:
Could be due to calcium deficiency

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

The low Vitamin D levels could be the cause behind the bony problems. Hard to comment definitively without examining you clinically or checking the X rays. The X rays could also confirm if you have osteoarthritis. I would insist that you visit an orthopedician and get things confirmed.
