Question : I have cylindrical/spherical eye power. Can it be corrected with Lasik? My prescription is -
right eye >> sph = -3.0 , cyl = -3.5 , axis = 05
left eye >> sph = -3.0 , cyl = -3.75 , axis = 180
right eye >> sph = -3.0 , cyl = -3.5 , axis = 05
left eye >> sph = -3.0 , cyl = -3.75 , axis = 180
Brief Answer:
Yes
Detailed Answer:
hI
Clinical investigations have to be done to check for the thickness of the cornea. Lasik will remove the layers of the cornea to correct the refractive errors. If you have the size of the cornea to remove the said mm to correct the Diopters of errors you can be a good candidate for the LASIK. I hope the error is not changing for one year. If it is changing that means you need to wait for the eye ball to stop the dimensions.
Please see a LASIK eye surgeon to check for the thickness of cornea called keratometry.
