
What Do My Semen Analysis Test Results Indicate?

Question: Hi... Iam 32 year old male height 184cm , weight 96 kg. My wife is 22 year old with normal body weight.Me and my wife are planning for baby , however we are unsuccessfull. We got married in the month of november 2015. My wife has a slight thyroid. Yesterday i did semen analysis and the reports is as below :
Quantity : 1.5 ml
Sperm counts :89 million / ml
Motility :60 to 70 %
Abnormal form : Few ( cytoplasmic drpplet,bent head & amirphous)
Pus cells : occasional
RBC : Absent..
My wifes period start date as follows:
29th November 2015
8th January 2016
14th February 2016
8th March 2016
However last period that is 8th march..she had very little bleeding, and blood was dark brown. We did ican home pregnancy test, however result was negetive.
We want to have a baby.

I understand your concerns about infertility.
Following is my reply :
1) Since you are recently married, you should keep trying for another six months.
2) Your semen analysis is excellent. You don't need any treatment.
3) Try for pregnancy around middle of your cycle which are most fertile days.
4) If you wish to hurry with pregnancy, you can request your gynecologist to do a regular follicular growth scan to check growth of eggs.
5) You can try for sexual Intercourse when your follicle is of maximum size.
