Question: What is mild coarsening of the hepatic echo texture of the liver.

Normally the liver has a smooth echotexture on ultrasound scan.
If it is coarse, then it indicates the normal echotexture is lost.

There are many different causes that include fibrosis, infiltrative diseases, metastasis etc.

You need to discuss with your gastroenterologist/hepatologist about the possible cause.
