What Do Nausea And Excessive Sweating After Eating Lunch Suggest?

Question: Hello, I was just finishing lunch and suddenly became very nauseous, broke into a sweat and felt like I was going to pass out. I finally laid down on the floor in the restaurant. 53 yo female, no history of heart problems, celexea, ambiean and an acid reducer are only meds. We call 911, was feeling much better by then. Except my arms felt like they were vibrating with pins and needles sensation. BP was 130/90 sitting and 130/100 standing. no chest pains. I chose not to go to hospital. Now I just feel very tired and kind of out of it.
Brief Answer:
it could be something you ate, if not may, be nerves/anxiety/panic attack?
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. Am curious to know what she had eaten at that point. The reason is, many times in restaurants you can be exposed to fish or shellfish and cause an allergic reaction. An allergic reaction would present with the symptoms you described.
the blood pressure vitals that your present did not show that your orthostatic/dehydrated. The diastolic numbers of 90-100 were physiologically appropriate.
The only other thing I could add is that she probably had an nervous/anxiety or panic attack at the moment. This could come on without any warning or reason. Good luck.
