What Do Pain And Tenderness In The Lower Left Leg Indicate?

Question: I have pain in my left lower leg, The pain occurs when I sit, turn the leg in aa 90 degrees angle and when I sleep. When I press on the inside of the shin I can feel tenderness. The left side of the muscle next to the upper shin is tender to touch.

1. Take rest. It plays a key role in decreasing pain and inflammation.

2. Stop doing the activity that caused the problem, at least until their symptoms are under control.

3. Apply cold packs and take anti-inflammatory medications like Motrin to calm pain and inflammation.
