What Do Popping Sound In Abdomen, Cramps And Vaginal Discharge Indicate?
Question: Hi i heard a popping sound in my lower stomach and got cramps straight away. Followed by discharge later
Brief Answer:
ovulation pain, bleed...explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
The fact that you are off contraceptive pills now , then the most likely cause of popping , cramps and discharge per vaginum in your case can be ovulation , ovulation bleed and mittelschmertz( pain during ovulation). This can however be confirmed with a transvaginal ultrasound. You should be getting it done soon to confirm the same.
The pain and cramp can be averted with pain killers and hot fomentation generally.

Detailed Answer:
I agree, this popping is usually not felt when the graffian follicle ruptures to ovulate, but this seems to be a possibility in your case as you have been off contraceptive pills , hence ovulation should resume.
The ovulation bleed is also common in form of spotting which can last for 1-2 days and the pain is felt for the same time but the intensity decreases with hours. The confirmation can be obtained with an ultrasound, so its advised that you should get one done. It could possibly be an old ovarian cyst rupture as well which can present in a similar manner considering your history of endometriosis. It could be an endometrial cyst rupture as well which can be confirmed on ultrasound and fluid can be seen in the pouch of XXXXXXX with hypoechoeic shadows( as seen in endometrial cystic contents).
regards
