Brief Answer:
Further information needed.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. I have gone through the attached report. As such, a pus cell count of 6-8/hpf is not concerning but the occult blood positivity calls for further clinical correlation. I would need to ask you the reason for your getting his stool tested (the complaints or problems that made you do so).

The mentioned finidings could either be due to some infection or could be due to some malabsorption syndrome. I would be able to comment further after you write back.

I have consulted Dr. XXXXXXX from fortis after finding red spots in stool in diapers so he examined baby physically and confirmed no anal fissure then he recommended us for Stool test.
Requiring second opinions from your end.

Hi Doctor,

I have shared the same report to Dr, XXXXXXX too he advised ZIFy 100 (3ml dose).

Please share which antibiotics to opt for and if ANYTHING IS SERIOUS

and why it HAPPENED.

Brief Answer:
Treatment with antibiotic should resolve the problem.

Detailed Answer:
Possibly there was a gastrointestinal infection which caused the blood in stool. You need not worry. Complete the course of Zify and I hope things would be fine. I do not think that it would become something serious.
