What Do Recurrent Itchy Rashes On The Body Suggest?
Question: What causes a rash that comes and goes in different areas of the body?
It begins with normal skin and an itchy sensation, followed by three perfect pin head sized bumps forming a perfect triangle. Then scattered bumps in immediate area...becomes very itchy then disappears.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed acute urticaria.
Your symptoms are suggestive of that.
It is an allergic condition.
Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria.
You need to find out the cause.
Treatment can be with oral anti histamines.
I advise a sedating antihistamine like benadryl in night and a non sedating antihistamine like fexofenadine in morning.
This gives excellent response in a week.
Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long.
If possible upload a photograph of the lesions.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.

This condition began two weeks ago. Nothing in my environment has changed. I was attacked by approximately 15-20 mosquitos on the day this began.

Just relax and take antihistamine tablets for a week.
