when I use the medicine it will be nice. but when I stop, in 2 to 3 days it will be back.
after using for a year I visited my doctor again and said its not reducing, then he as prescribed me A-CN ointment, biona-e capsules and M plus capsules.
I have been using for another 1 year. No improvement.

Skin biopsy required
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic forum.
I understand from your query that you have been itchy lesions predominantly on the face and scalp for 1 year.
I have seen the pictures that you have uploaded.
I would consider the possibilities of a few conditions called Rosacea, Lupus miliaris disseminati faceii, Appendegeal tumours and Sarcoidosis.
These are differnet types of skin disorders which have remissions and relapses. Each has a treatment and prognosis of its own.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have advised you to get a skin biopsy done to confirm the diagnosis. This test involves taking a small 3.5 mm punch of skin for testing after giving a anaesthetic injection to the skin from where the biopsy has to be taken.
Once the diagnosis is confirmed by biopsy, we can treat it accordingly.
I would suggest you to discuss the same with a dermatologist and follow the protocol.
I hope this helps you.
If you have any more queries, I would be glad to answer.
Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Johny Chacko
The problem is that, I live in USA.
I am from XXXXXXX I am a student here.
I can't afford any tests here.
It's really costly here.
I don't know what to do.
This disease is haunting me everyday. Whenever I get sweat, it burns a lot. Now this infection is slowly traveling even below my neck and started coming above my chest area.
Lumps on the face
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand your problem. Since you are suffering from more than a year, it becomes all the more important to treat scientifically than use some cream to temporarily bring it down.
Nadoxin C has a strong steroid component called Clobetasol. This should not be used for more than 2 weeks on the face as steroid induced side effects can occur.
In USA, it is not even possible to get medicines over the counter without a doctor's prescription.
I could consider the 1 st possibility of rosacea and treat you accordingly, though I would still prefer a skin biopsy. You could benefit from taking oral doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 2 weeks. You may have to get this prescribed by a GP there. Do not apply anything. Stop Nadoxin C. Use a sopa free cleanser like Cetaphil to wash your face.
Do get back to me after 2 weeks and send me pictures of the lesions.
Let us hope it will come down.
When are you coming down to India? Try to get a skin biopsy done during that time if the lesions persist.
I hope this provides some relief to you.
Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Johny Chacko
Does Rosacea cause loosing facial hair?
My facial hair is becoming lifeless. They used to be normal and straight before. But now they became twisted and falling very easily.
Came you tell me the name of the medicine in XXXXXXX which you have mentioned before?? One of my friend is coming, I will ask him to get them.
And what about my scalp??
It all actually started from scalp.
If you could give me ur mail id, I can send you more pictures and get a clear idea about it. That would be really great full.
Lumps on the face
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Yes. Rosacea could start on the scalp also. It generally does not cause hair fall. But prolonged irritation and rubbing can cause the hairs to fall.
Since this is an online health forum, I am not allowed to prescribe any medicine. I can only suggest to you what could help you and you will have to get it prescribed by a doctor. Moreover, even in XXXXXXX Doxycycline is a prescription medicine and cannot be got over the counter. You could ask your friend to get it prescribed in XXXXXXX and bring them to you.
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health,
Dr. Johny Chacko
