Brief Answer:
Some more information is needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Where is his pain located? Please check his heart rate, is it higher than 100?
Does he have nausea, vomiting, bloated abdomen, diarrhea?
Shivers and abdominal pain can be caused by many different reasons including urinary tract infection, gallstones, acute pancreatitis, stomach perforation and many more.
If his heart rate is high, he should rather consult his doctor as soon as possible and have blood work and ultrasound done.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
