What Do Small Itchy Bumps On The Anus Indicate?
Question: I am a femal. i have 5 small itchy bumps about a half inch from by anus. They did not blister and are not painful and are not clustered. Mostly itchy at night. Now about 5 days later I think I scratched them open, still no puss and no fluid. I did have a swollen lymphynod on my left side of groin are, only lasted 2 days. I have traveled to a foreign country within the last three weeks were contracted a stomach virus.

Hi,
These spots are really non specific and difficult to tell. They are not typical of fungal infections which are the primary cause of itches around the anal area. I will suggest that you cleanse at least twice daily and after stools with an antiseptic solution. If they fail to resolve with 5-7days, then I will recommend you go in for further evaluation.
