Brief Answer:
She might be having angioedema.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry for heart diseases.
In my opinion, she might had angioedema. It is inflammation and swelling of glottis. Glottis is entry point of respiratory system. So if it narrows, patient feels suddenness onset breathing difficulty.
Most common cause for angioedema is viral infection add allergy.
So better to finish the course of antibiotic and follow up with ENT doctor.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your brother in law. Thanks.

I can I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the picture you have attached.
Treatment is appropriate. Treatment covers allergy and infection both.
Basically, he was having edema over vocal cords which narrowed air passage and caused symptoms.
Medrol is steroid which helps in allergy.
Azee is antibiotic which helps in infection.
So ask him to finish this course and do follow up with ENT doctor.
