Question : my father aged 70 yrs has GGTP 980, bilirubin total 1.85, bilirubin direct 0.69, bilirubin indirect 1.16, AST 106, ALT 60, ALP 174, thyroid TSH 10.06. We are worried please help.... regards Dr Debkant XXXXXXX

i can understand your concern regarding to your father's health.
The lab results you reported suggest for liver disease, the cause may be due to alcohol abuse, hepatitis B or other causes. A detailed clinical examination and further exams are needed to conclude.
Regarding to thyroid, high TSH level is suggested for underactive thyroid or hypothyroidism.
His physician will decide rather to start treatment with levothyroxine or not as a whole medical history is helpful before deciding to start treatment.
The dose depends on his weight and the presence of other pathologies such as cardiac problems ect.
