Brief Answer:
it looks like advanced gall bladder cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

From this PET scan it appears that she has got a gall bladder cancer which is obstructing intestine (duodenum) and also spread to lymph glands and other parts of abdomen. Has a biopsy been done? Because only biopsy will confirm the diagnosis.

Unfortunately this is not surgically removable (as per this report). So chemotherapy for disease control will be required most likely.

Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
if not surgically resectable then incurable

Detailed Answer:
If laparoscopy shows deposits in other parts of abdomen then surgery not feasible. This scenario is however, incurable. Chemo can control it for some time but can not fully cure it. Average duration of control about a year. Side effects like vomiting, nausea, weakness, low blood counts are common but usually manageable.

You can consult Dr XXXXXXX Singhal at Apollo Indraprastha who is a competent medical oncologist.
