What Do The Following X-ray Results Indicate?

kindly explain me all these three , especially difference between the x ray dated:1/2/2017 and 29/04/2017
There is improvement in recent xray chest
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.
Thanks for writing in.
Lymph nodes are structures which help in fighting disease and it enlarges when there is infection like TB.
There are lymph nodes all over the body.
Your xray chest from 26-11-2016 shows enlarged lymph nodes in both hilum which is the area where the lungs join the large airways.
Hilar lymph nodes are known to enlarge in TB.
The xray chest from 01-02-2017 shows that the lymph nodes in both hilum hav decreased in size.
The xray chest from 29-04-2017 shows no evidence of active disease. This means the treatment is working for you and your condition is likely cured.
If you compare the xray chest from 01-02-2017 and 29-04-2017, we find that the hilum appears clear on the recent xray which means there is progressive improvement and response to treatment.

And sir this is totally lymphodenopathy only na...
My doctor told that the chest is totally clear and there is no need of CT scan at this moment.and to stop TB medicines
You are cured, please be healthy from now
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
In the first xray there was active disease which caused lymph node enlargement.
After taking medicine the lymph node size decreased.
However TB bacteria require long term treatment of at least 6 months for cure. In the second xray the disease is in control.
In the third xray the treatment is confirmed because there is no abnormal area.
Please have good food and check that you do not get any regular fever, weight loss, cough or swellings any where for few months. This is to confirm that you are cured.
Regards,

TB bacteria is strong and few months of treatment needed
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
TB bacteria are strong and not easily controlled with regular antibiotics. Over the years doctors have found combination of medicines to be taken for few months to cure TB. This is the reason why you need to take treatment even if there are no symptoms. TB can affect any part of your system if treatment not taken properly.

Confused whether you "want to continue" or "cant continue"
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
You have mentioned......"but I insisted personally for one month extra to continue medicine hence he recommended maximum one month to continue medicine ,now I can't I continue this medicine UpTo two months extra so that my chest will be more clear"
I am confused with the last line whether you "want to continue" or you "cant continue" as you have written "cant continue this medicine up to 2 months extra".
With due respect to your physician, I understand your doctor is a TB specialist (Pulmonologist) or specialist in internal medicine.
If your doctor is not a TB specialist or internal medicine specialist then it will be better to consult another specialist doctor and discuss the continuation phase of your treatment.
Taking TB medicine for few months more will not cause any serious problems but your liver function tests need to be checked regularly.

he told you can stop medications as pA view is given
complete resolution.he had experience in chest Medicine IRCU
No need of extra 2 months treatment but get medical check up done
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
Your doctor is an internal medicine specialist with experience in chest medicine and he is the right doctor for you.
Since you had mild disease which resolved quickly after taking medicines, he feels the need to stop treatment.
We treat TB based on the recent disease activity.
In your case there is no activity and you are feeling healthy and have started gaining weight.
In the above situation, it is nearly certain that all the bacteria are eliminated from your system.
Therefore we know that TB medicine is slightly toxic and should not be taken without need.
Keeping this in mind I suggest you avoid extra treatment but always get a medical check up done for next few months regularly.
Regards,
