Brief Answer:
Ultrasound pelvis to identify the source of infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I can certainly understand your concern.
I have worked through your query in detail and attached report in detail.
Blood tests- Elevated ESR, CRP, C3 and C4 suggest ongoing infection in your body.Restb of the tests are within normal limits.
Since you recently had a sexual encounter, your doctor might possibly looking for a source of infection somewhere in the pelvis where the entire genitourinary system is situated.
Hence your doctor requested for an ultrasound pelvis.
Further management if any is largely based on test results.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Hi There,
Thanks for the reply.
I didn't recently have any sexual encounter. It was about 17 months before.
What do you think may be my disease. Is it something related to cancer??

Brief Answer:
Cancer is extremely unlikely
Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXXXX
This is absolutely not related to cancer.
Changes indicate infection acquired either recently or in the past.
It's advisable to get a CT scan of abdomen and pelvis to locate the accurate source of infection and to start appropriate therapy.
The possibility of pelvic inflammatory disease has to be ruled out safely.
Hence get this test and update me test reports at the earliest.
