What Do The Following Blood Test Reports Indicate?
Question: Hello,
Last month I had some blood tests done.
My haemoglobin was 15.7 g/dL and also attached the thyroid result. The results were in the range but was bit concerned about the values.
I am also planning for my first pregnanacy and taking ovacare and folvite tablets.
My cycles are normal (between 23 to 28 days).
Please guide.

Brief Answer:
TSH levels are normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
I have seen the attached report. The TSH levels are near the upper limit but are not worrisome. Since you have normal regular cycles there should not be any difficulty in conceiving normally. Just get your TSH values evaluated again when you conceive as the TSH levels may rise due to the effect of pregnancy. No active treatment is needed right now.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Thanks for the answer.
I am also attaching one more blood test report of Prolactin.
I have done this test just 2 days before my periods were about to start and just after the breakfast.
So just wanted to be clear is there certain requirements for this test or is it fine? as it is also near the upper level.
Thanks.
