What Do The Following Sperm Analysis Reports Indicate?

Question: How long does it takes for 2nd egg to rupture after 1st egg is ruptured after giving hcg injection?. I was administered Fertiygn 10000 HCG injection on Friday 8 PM and then had two IUIs. One IUI next day at Saturday 6:30 PM. Husband's sperm analysis after post processing on Saturday was:

Count: 48 Million per ml
Motility: 92%

On Sunday underwent 2nd IUI at 2:00 PM but by then only 1 egg was ruptured. Post Processing Sperm analysis for Sunday was:

Count: 32 million per ml
Motility: 92%

Hi,

Follicles rupture after they are 18 mm or more. The rapture happens between 36 to 40 hours after inj. hCG.

In your case since one follicle has ruptured , the other one would have ruptured within 6 PM on Sunday.

Your ovulation was done at right time and you have good chance of pregnancy.

Thanks a lot Dr XXXXXXX for answering the question. I have been advised to have intercourse today as well. Will it make any difference to the current situation? I also have scheduled travel to my in-laws in the first week of November, will it be safe to travel via flight or do I need to avoid travel at any cost?. And what all precautions would you suggest me to take now on wards?.

Thanks a lot for your response Doctor, I have an additional question and it's regarding my apprehensions about life of washed sperm. I have heard that it is alive only for 6-12 hours so in that case don't you think first iui was done a bit early before completion of 24 hrs after HCG shot? Since if sperms stay alive only for such small period then I might have my sperms been alive only till 12:30 AM, Sunday(IUI done on Sat 6:30 PM, counting 6 hours from there), and if ovulation happens after this then I'll miss my fertilization. So I am bit worried whether first iui was done a bit early. Also what are my chances of having twins?.
