REQUET YOU TO PRVIVE THE FEEDBACK AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO MAE RESULTS TO NORMAL
It is normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It is Dr Sameer, cardiologist from Fortis Hospital.
Echo is done to see heart function & status of valves in heart. Borderline concentric LVH is increase in mass of heart muscle mainly because of Hypertension. It is like increase in arm muscle of a individual doing gym. You don't have to worry about this, it is ok for her.
Troponin are test to see for any acute event occurring in heart(like heart attack) which is negative & is absolutely normal & a very good news.
About cholesterol, it is quite abnormal & considering associated diabetes she needs drugs to decrease cholesterol. I recommend a drug Rosuvastatin 5mg at bed time for her.
Also she should go for a stress test in form of DSE(Dobutamine Stress Echo) to assess for future cardiac risk.
Thanks
I wish a good health for her.

As suggested by you about Cholestrol drug Rosuvastatin 5mg just wanted to confirm if we start taking this drug did we take this for lifetime or can be avoided once my mother Cholestrol comes to normal level.
what is the range of Cholestrol from which we need to start taking drugs can it be controlled by natural remedies or drug is mandatory?
Does it have any side effets since my mother is having diabetes.
Its better to take Rosuvastatin
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Diabetics patients are at a high risk of coronary heart disease. All statins including rosuvastatin is very important & prevents heart event. According to current guidelines we have a goal LDL of around 70mg/dl. So its better to take medicine. Its only a small dose & won't cause much side effect.
Side effects include muscle pain, nausea.
She also needs to take less lipids in diet & avoid red meat. We will check the lipid profile again after 6months & if it will improve we can stop the drug & just put her on dietary restrictions.
Diabetes patients are mostly benefited.
I hope this was helpful.
I wish good health for your mother & successful life for you.

One of our cardolgist sugegsted to take PRELIPID capsule twice daily for 3 months for High LDL. As per your opinion is it safe to take or we can go with rosuvastatin?
Yes prelipid is also a good alternative
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Prelipid contains Black pepper extract, Folic acid,Grape seed extract,Vitamin B3 and Red yeast rice extract and is a good alternative to statin in patients with low risk for cardiac disease.
This medicine is currently been used more often because of extensive marketing.
So yes, you can take it safely as a alternative to rosuvastatin. Check lipid profile again after 3 months.
Remember to do dietary restrictions & regular mild exercise for at least 30min/day 5days/week.
Be healthy, be safe.
Wishing you a good health & successful life
