What Do These CT Scan And Ultrasound Findings Indicate?

Question: Two weeks ago I had a cystoscopy done because of chronic pain on the lower right side of my abdomen (which I have been having for five months), and blood in urine (which I have had for over a decade with an undetermined cause). The cystoscopy was normal. In 2 days, I started getting a severe pain in my lower back (but no high fever, no blood but a severe runny nose and some sore throat). The doctor sent me to do a urine analysis with culture. There was no culture growth and no nitrites in my urine, only leucocytes. The doctor said it was not an infection so I wasn’t prescribed an antibiotic.

My urologist wanted me to do a CT scan. I did the CT scan, but declined the contrast XXXXXXX because I'm allergic.

Here are the results of the CT scan concerning kidneys:
"no hydronephrosis and no renal/ureteral calculi are detected. Evaluation of the renal panarenchyma is limited without IV contrast. No perinephric collections or inflammatory changes are present."

However I'm still worried about kidney cancer, because I'm still experiencing the pain on the right side of my abdomen and my right side overall. Based on these CT findings (and my ultrasound results which were normal) is there a chance that I have kidney cancer? As I mentioned, I have had blood in my urine for 12 years now.

Brief Answer:
There is almost no chance of kidney cancer based on this finding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

There is almost no chance of kidney cancer based on this finding.
There must be some abnormality detected like renal mass, complex cyst etc during CT or ultrasound which might indicate abnormality.
If you had any problem,it could had been well picked by non contrast CT scan and ultrasound.
Since findings are normal, there is no need to be worried about.

Blood in urine and right sided abdominal pain may be due to many reasons which need proper evaluation.

I have another question about my CT-scan—which also states that “the liver demonstrates a few small subcentimeter hypodense lesions which are nonspecific but often represent cysts. "

Might the pain on the right side of my abdomen be because of the lesions discovered in my liver? How serious are lesions found on the liver in general? What risks can they pose?

In January of this year I ate raw salmon. The pain on the right side started soon afterwards—not sure if it’s a coincidence or not. Could potential parasites from the raw fish cause lesions in my liver? What tests can I do to determine if I have parasites in my body and/or in my liver?

Thank you.
