Brief Answer:
May be the ayurvedic medicine might have caused this damage
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The elevation in sgpt and sgot might be because of ayurvedic medicine itself ,most of the jaundice patient we see they might have already used some treatment apart from allopathy .
next is if you have a fatty liver on ultrasound abdomen then this can also be a reason on elevation of enzymes.
If fatty liver is there then give a trial of diet modification like avoiding fatty food amd daily physical activity ,recheck your Liver function test after 3 months, if still elevation of enzymes persist then we need to work up for all the causes of increased transaminesia.
thank you

Dear sir,
A month back had abdomen ultrasound found normal, since last month following diet of nil oil, less salt & spicy, no fatty food. only thing is not doing any physical exercise. do I consult any local Dr. for my elevated sgpt(69.88) & sgot(48.2) ? if yes suggest the specialist like gen medicines or any other. these parameters r very high r not?
Is there any problem if I take little drinks (60-90ml)
