Brief Answer:
Unilateral Hearing Loss (Single Sided Deafness).
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. The Audiogram and BERA/ABR tests indicate a Single Sided Deafness (SSD) / Unilateral Hearing Loss.
2. Unless this is recent (within a few weeks), there is no medical treatment. There is also no specific surgery on the ear that can help.
3. If you do not want to use a conventional or CROS hearing aid, a BAHA (Bone Anchored Hearing Aid) or a SoundBite hearing aid will help.
I hope that I have answered your queries. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.

Sir thank you for your valuable suggestion
Can you explain me the problem in detail with my left ear?
Is there is a nerve present between the brain or completely nerve is not there??
Is nerve completely dead or weakness because if i am closing my right ear with my finger and if am using my phone left was able to sense the voice.
Is Ayurvedic medicines can cure my problem?
If i am selected for any railway or central government examinations will they object during the medical examinations?

Brief Answer:
Details as discussed below:
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for writing back.
1. To check of the nerve is present, a CT + MRI of the Temporal Bones is advised.
2. The BERA/ABR test shows a non functioning nerve on the left.
3. You hear with the right ear through the vibrations transmitted through the skull from the left side. This is the basis of the BAHA (Bone Anchored Hearing Aid).
4. No medical treatment is likely to help unless this is a very recent hearing loss.
5. Medical fitness for central government service will be a problem.
I hope that I have answered your queries. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Brief Answer:
May not be a problem.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for writing back.
1. You will have to specifically enquire regarding their hearing loss criteria. This may or may not be a problem.
2. Your hearing loss is correctable with current hearing aid technology.
3. Unilateral hearing loss is not considered a major handicap. Spatial orientation of sound is an issue.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
