Need to know the LDL levels
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
I need more details to be better able to help you. One is the LDL levels and second is if you have any other medical condition like diabetes, hypertension, etc.
If your LDL levels are below 190 and you do not have any associated medical condition, then you do not need medicines. Even the LDL levels are higher then you need to try fat free diet (no cheese, butter, ghee, sweets, etc) and regular exercise (20 min a day) for atleast 3 months before starting the medicines. The usual prescribed medicines are from statin group like atorvastatin or rosuvastatin, etc.
Thus I would like to see your complete report.
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

You need to followup on diabetes
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Yes you need to followup on diabetes. Get fasting blood sugar done. Take low sugar foods.
According to lipid profile and current international recommendations, you do not need lipid lowering medicines yet. But you do need to implement lifestyle changes to lower cholesterol. Take fat free diet (eliminate milk products like cheese, butter, ghee, sweets, etc) and exercise daily for atleast 20 min a day.
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
