What Do These Following Biopsy And Stool Test Reports Indicate?
kindly read detailed answer below
Detailed Answer:
hi.
thank you for posting query at HCM.
i read your history and went through the reports attached to your question.
Firstly, biopsy results and stool test do NOT show any abnormality in the bowel architecture. NO bright or occult blood observed in the samples. Therefore, there is no inflammatory disease within the intestine as confirmed by lab results.
Secondly, red streaks within the stool maybe :
1. "occasionally" and rarely due to change in bowel habit ( severe constipation, hard stool may have damaged the mucosa)
OR
2. red streak maybe appearing as a digestive product of food you had in a particular day ( food additives - red color , more tomato ingestion, tomato juice/sauce)
Lab results have ruled out any inflammatory disorder as a cause for bloody streaks. so be sure, your intestinal wall is normal.
increased Mucus content in stool may also be secondary to change in bowel habits.
therefore, putting together, change in eating habits is advised. You should not stress at all for resolution of present symptoms.
Constipation definition varies from person-to-person. Stools may be too hard or too small, difficult to pass, or infrequent (less than three times per week). Some people with constipation may feel a sense that the bowels are not empty
- thrice daily , take two tea spoon (or one big spoon) isphagula husk with 200 to 300 mL water
- increase warm water intake as much as possible
- eat small meals (rich in fiber)
- eat plentiful "fresh oranges" and "pear "
- avoid COLD milk and and AVOID junk food(NO burger , pizza) altogether
- mix few drops of "lemon juice" in warm water. Drink on empty stomach, early in the morning, to aid in bowel movement
- avoid beverages / alcohol/ soft drinks
- do some exercise (push-ups etc) early in the morning
- avoid carbonated drinks
- take 2-3 spoon edible virgin olive oil in the morning
Any further questions are most welcome.
Hope to answer your concern.
Wish you good and sound health.

Dr Tayyab Malik
I already eat small, fibrous meals and work out in the beginning of the day. Grapes are particularly diarrhea-causing, so i avoid them. I take metamucil and miralax daily.

Detailed Answer:
hi.
thanks for getting back.
cause of many diseases/ symptoms in medicine remains unknown.
moreover, with advancement in technology , its difficult to find pure raw fresh food from fruits to vegetables to bread.
Food maybe genetically modified, be canned or may contain artificial additives/ flavorings. All these factors influence the digestion process.
you may continue metamucil but stop miralax.
food which have high fat content are difficult to digest like beef, red meat, fried food ( rich in oil). Avoid these.
ingest fruits&vegetables daily.
last and not least, try to avoid drinking water during and after meals.
do not eat mouth-full or stomach full. if stomach is divided into four parts,
full three while keep one part empty ( @every meal).
mix lemon juice in "warm water" and drink on "empty stomach" daily for at least a week or 10 days. This would most likely help in the effective bowel movement.
continue to follow the advise(s) mentioned in previous answer.
wish you speedy recovery.
