What Do These Following Blood Reports Indicate?
hepatitis negative, microalbuminuria present
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
regarding your hepatitis tests, it seems that you've been vaccinated for hepatitis B in the past (as an infant probably). There is no acute or chronic hepatitis B or C.
You've got a very high glucosylated hemoglobin which means that you've got an uncontrolled diabetes. Microalbuminuria is present. Microalbumin in the urine is present when the kidneys have been partially damaged (probably by the bad glucose control) and a protein leak develops.
A better glucose and blood pressure control is advised and is the only thing you can do. Angiotensin Converting Enzyme inhibitors (ACEi) have shown good results in patients with type I diabetes. Angiotensin Receptor Blockers (ARB) have shown good results in type II diabetes. Both the ACEi and ARB have positive effect on both types of diabetes though and can be used almost interchangeably.
I hope I've clarified the tests enough!
You can contact me again, if you'd like any further clarification or information.
Kind Regards!
You're welcome!
