What Do These Following Lab Reports Indicate?
Question: Hi, I'm asking this question on behalf of my mother. She is 69 years old.
We would like to know how serious her cataract condition is. ie. does she need to have surgery soon.

it is good that you have sent your reports.We need two more informations,what is her vision status now,that means how many lines on the board she can read.No. 2 what is her level of discomfort.
There are two factors.Once cataract is there it has to keep increasing and at one stage has to be operated.We have to assess if the difficulty is enough to go ahead with surgery.or it is just a small disturbance which we can wait and watch how things progress.
These factrs allow us to finalize the timing of surgery.Do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard with required information.

She can read 6 lines.
She has no discomfort ie. She can see well with her reading glasses, no disruptions to her daily lifestyle.
