Question: Hello,
I have undergone an Executive health check up last week and following were the conclusion

2) Deranged Lever enzymes
3) Dyslipidemia
4) Hyperuricemia
5) Hypothyroidism - Recommended for T4 , Anti TPO ab, AST, ALT
Is there any need of me doing the CT Angiogram for confirmation, or any other symptoms could be there for such medical situation. please suggest. Medical reports are available with me.

Brief Answer:
Regular exercise and dietary control (also alcohol restriction) is required
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Based on the mentioned details I do not see the requirement of a CT angiogram. However, I would need to ask if you are an alcoholic and if so, you need to cut down on your alcohol intake.
About the mild stress pattern on TMT, I would insist you not to worry. Rather, make sure to walk briskly daily in the morning. It is only if you get intermittent episodes of chest pain that you would need to go for a CT angiogram for confirmation.
Regards

Hello Dr XXXXXXX
Thanks for the answer , it was so much relieving :-)
I am an occasional drinker , that too once in a month or so (office parties couple of beer's that's it)
Regarding the chest pain, would it be like a pain due to prick with a needle or a major chest pain that can be easily noticeable, also would that be during the brisk walk or any time of the day....I am asking this just to get more clarity.
Regards

Brief Answer:
I was talking about severe chest pain.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
What I had written, referred to a major problematic episode of noticeable chest pain. Unless you have that, you need not worry.
About the amount of walk required, it is recommended to walk 10,000 steps each day (all throughout the day, including when you walk inside the room). You need not try to reach this milestone in a day. Gradually build up on it. There are smartphone apps with pedometer function that will help you in monitoring your progress in this regard.
