What Do These Following Lab Reports Indicate?
Question: Hello Doctor
I complain of a rise in the level of cholesterol and taking treatment for nearly 15 years and I settled using a drug named Lescol XL 80 and after switching to treatment at government hospitals have been changed to medicine simvastineor 20 g or atorvastatin 20 mg.
At the last visit was replaced by medication to rosuvastatin 10mg
So what is the best solution of that (note that the total cholestrol 280 and the HDL 43 LDL150 ,113 and the Triglysdride) advice me pleas.

Welcome and thanks for your query.
Your total cholesterol and LDL levels are higher than optimum. Triglycerides are normal.
I feel the dose of crestor is not sufficient and may be increased to 20mg in consultation with your treating doctor.
Your blood tests also indicate that you have a condition called Gilbert's syndrome. There is nothing to worry about it. It is not a liver inflammation produced by statin as your liver enzymes ALT and AST are normal. These would be elevated if you have a liver inflammation which can occur as an adverse effect of statins like Rosuvastatin.

It is a benign condition and does not require treatment.
Very low carb food, dehydration and infections can elevate the bilirubin.
Avoid these as much as possible.
The tingling in the toes and heat in the soles of feet are not related to this but may be due to decreased blood flow from atherosclerotic vessels ( as you have high blood fats) or due to peripheral neuropathy.
If you smoke or consume alcohol or eat unhealthy foods, these symptoms may result from vitamin deficiency also
