What Do These Following Lab Reports Indicate?

Question: Hello Dr.,

I had a 21 week 2 day anatomy scan and while all else is reported normal, we are worried about the head circumference lagging behind by 2 weeks. The value stood at 16.72 cm (corresponding to 19w+2d). While other markers fall around smwhere comfortably in range, we noticed that HC was 12 percentile in last month scan at 17 weeks and BPD is also on lower side. My doctor seemed not worried at all about it saying the baby is in a breech position and that means measurements can be off. But I cant help thinking as I did find out its the BPD which lags even behind HC for breech babies. Also, cephalic index at 74.4 had dicholocephaly written. Is dicholocephaly along with low HC a concern which should warrantee further evaluations? Or am I overthinking, and all is most likely well? Please review the attached reports on anatomy scan and give your opinion on it.

Brief Answer:
No furter evaluation required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

This is common finding in breech babies. There is nothing to panic about this.

If there was any other problem, It would have been identified by cranial parameters like ventricular size and other parameters.

This is normal report. Dont worry about it.

Let me know If You need anymore help.
