What Do These Lab Reports Indicate?
Please refer to the detailed answer below
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I can understand your concern after going through the medical details provided by you. Here I wanna tell you that basically what comes out printed on an ECG paper is just a machine interpretation which in majority of the cases is not correct. If a person is not bulky or fat the voltage generated by the heart muscles reaches the ecg electrodes in more strength which can be misinterpreted as LVH.
As your ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY report is normal then there is nothing to think about as in echo we actually measure the thickness of the heart muscles.
Also if someone is not a long standing hypertensive the possibility of LVH is negligible.
I hope this information will relieve your worries. Feel free to ask if you have any more doubts.
Kind regards

Hello Again
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for uploading your report.
According to the report your cardiac function is completely normal.
As per the measurement of IVSd and LVPWD 1.1 which is well within the normal range for an adult.
They have mentioned Mildly dilated LV which according to LVIDD measurement of 5.2 falls within normal range. I would not consider it as dilated.
I hope this information will answer your query

Hello Again
Detailed Answer:
Dear if possible upload your ecg also for me to review. But in my opinion you should forget it and enjoy your life. As Echo is normal so nothing to worry.
Just follow healthy lifestyle habits, do not smoke and exercise daily.

Kindly recheck your report
Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr XXXX
If you see your report carefully which you have sent me in that it's clearly written LA Left Atrium as 2.8 which is a normal size.
Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
Yes you are right
Detailed Answer:
Although it's not very clear but yes I can make out the impression of values of LA and Aorta. Yes the values are mistakenly exchanged.
If we take it as 4.2 then yes its mildly dilated, but then there is no other finding in your echo report like Mitral Regurgitation or Mitral Stenosis that can lead to LA dilatation. Neither you have any ECG rhythm abnormality.
Kind regards

Hello Again
Detailed Answer:
Before jumping to any other thing in my opinion you should get your Echocardiography repeated from some other good centre.
Personally I believe it will come normal.

Hello Again
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for providing me with an ECG report.
I would have to say that yes definitely there are some non specific T wave inversions/changes as well as increased voltage in the precordial leads which signifies LVH. Also i can see your systolic blood pressure to be written there as 152/88 which is also on the slightly higher side. If this blood pressure is your regularly this much then it can cause LVH.
After seeing your Ecg i would like to suggest you to repeat your ECHO from some other good centre and also go for a TMT.
Kind Regards
