Before I comment on the results, I would like to know the reasons for ordering these test. Does he smoke or drink alcohol? Is he on any medications regularly?
Is he known to have any medical illness?

Hello Doctor

He is on regular medicine for weak heart for last 7 years... Now he faced problem due to Diabetes and Uric acid more resulting pain in Legs and Foot RHS.. When show to doctor they suggested this tests..

Attached is doctor advise..

Need your advise on test reports..

Note.. He don't smoke and drink now from last 8years

Hi,

I went through the history provided. Co relating history, my comments on test results are as follows:

1. High Uric acid is significant. It is most likely the cause of right foot pain - gouty arthritis. He should continue with the medications prescribed - colchicine and febuxostat.
2. ESR value of 40 is not serious to be worried off. It is most likely related to gouty arthritis.
3. High GGT value is significant. It could be related to his medicine or diabetes. We can monitor GGT values for now.
4. I do not accept fasting blood sugar of 76. This is too low for comfort. If he is on medicines for diabetes, it needs to be review. Post prandial blood sugar of 178mg/dl is acceptable level for diabetes.
